Feature Requests

When you search up "ECON" in the subjects, you get "CSEC - computer science and economics first;" similarly, "MATH" redirects to "AMTH" first. Would appreciate a reordering of search results for more ease of use as it feels bad to type ECON and then have to manually move down to ECON rather than pressing enter immediately

Enable a user to sort by multiple factors. One possibility is, when two categories are highlighted, if there is a tie, the second category is deferred two as secondary means of sorting. The other option is that by a system of multiplication or something else similar, there is a "cross-sort" where the two factors paired together are sorted by their optimal paired scores.

Ability to filter courses by date added, since a lot of courses are released after the initial push, and it can be frustrating to find these newly added courses when you think you've already searched through all possible courses

Some courses are offered for half a semester, would be nice to filter by this

It'd be nice if there was a filter where you could get a list of classes that don't require prerequisites.

It would be helpful to have a feature that shows which courses a given course is a prerequisite for (i.e. what taking a given course would enable you to take in the future)

I've seen similar suggestions about generally being able to hide classes, but my suggestion is a toggle to hide cross-listings specifically, so you only see a class appear once in the catalog, rather than it appearing once for each department.

It would be great if we could see whether summer classes are session A or B without having to click into the description. Then we could maybe sort by session as well.

Please have a way to hide class sections, it is very difficult to be able to look at the total different courses there are when blocks of sections of the same class crowd out the search results
